In last Thursday and Friday, there were about 200 LLLL.coms for everyday on ebay, all are $0.99 start and no reserver auctions. It is well known the eBay auction final bids are generally slightly lower than other marketplace.. then what will happen when suddenly 400 LLLL.coms for sale there?

Compare with the average 10-15 LLLL.coms on eBay auction, the flood sales is just like another Flu…. Not Swine Flu.. let’s call it 4L Com Flu.

The current LLLL.com market is under pain of price cutting. All of us are wondering that will the day coming or not when no one picks the dropped crappy LLLL.coms… now the 4L Flu on eBay is the last draw???

All auctions are closed and I tracked 300 domains, now let’s see what happended:

Hmm, I should give you more backgrounds for these domains 1st:

… Most domains are with bad letters Q X V Z…

… Most domains are expire in next 30 - 60 days. Some in one week

… Most domains are listed by one domainer (Not sure why he chose list on ebay to clear his portfolio. I think he can earn better if list them for sale on main domain forums). And most of the domains are register with a quite unpopuplar register for domainers (DomainTurnpike.com, which is a reseller of Godaddy)

OK, now let go to the results for the 300 domains:

- The lowest end bid is $0.55 for QYGU.com. This is a very sad result in my view. QYGU.com was read as a low quality CVCV.com domain in the past and easy to touch $100 in 2007. And now…..

- The highest bid is $102.5 for IMPQ.com. It suprised me again since no clue on why it got this excellent bid as a Domain with bad letter Q and without much logical acronyms.

So what is your feeling now?… 4L.com is going to dead?… No.. don’t make decision in a hurry. Let’s read more from the bidding results.

For the total 300 domains. there are:

- 121 domains closed at price lower than $10

- 132 domains closed at price between $11 - $20

- 47 domains are higher than $20

And the avarage price is $14.67, which is actually the average market price for low quality LLLL.coms~~!!

Hmm, that is not bad. In my mind, the LLLL.coms are still alive, and the flu has gone already. It back to 10 -15 LLLL.coms on ebay now, with the average market price as auction close price.

The bad economy will become history in oneday, and LLLL.com will become more strong in that day~~
